Music

Music has been a big part of my life from a young age: I started on piano at the age of 6 and cello at the age of 7. Somewhat early on, it became apparent that cello was to become my primary instrument. At the age of 12, I stood in front of an orchestra as a conductor for the first time (it was my middle school orchestra). That, coupled with a slowly increasing knowledge of standard orchestral repertoire, began to awaken my desire to conduct.

For many years, I have been arranging and orchestrating music for different occasions. I have arranged music from as small as 4 or 5 celli up to a full symphony orchestra. From original musicals to classical performances, I have had a lot of fun creating music for ensembles of all sizes. Please feel free to get in touch about your arrangement and orchestration needs. Senior Recital

For my senior recital for the Certificate for Musical Performance in Conducting, I brought together about 30 musicians and conducted and performed on the piano and cello. This performance gave me the chance to showcase both my instrumental studies as well as the conducting experience I built over my years at college. I also made an orchestra and cello arrangement of "Songs my Mother Taught Me" by Dvorak, dedicated to my parents, who have made me the person and musician that I am.
